SAU 90 Hampton School District Safe Routes to School Travel Plan

Travel

Safe Routes to School (SRTS) refers to projects and programs that enable and encourage walking and biking to school to achieve a wide range of benefits for students, schools, and communities. The main goal of a travel plan is to create safer routes for pedestrians and bike travel by identifying problem areas, and proposing solutions. It serves as a basis for funding and is a way for a community to organize their plans for SRTS projects.
